Obituary for Ruth Hood Linder Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Ruth Hood Linder passed away peacefully in Gilbert, Arizona on the morning of December 2, 2018. She was 95. Ruth was born October 1, 1923 in Mesa, Arizona to Samuel and Mentie Hood.

She married Johnnie Wesley Linder on June 3, 1939 in Mesa, Arizona and later sealed in the Mesa Temple. They were married 60 years and lived in various places but Mesa was always home. She is preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings, husband Johnnie, daughter and son-in-law Linda and Bill Hendrix.

She is survived by her children, Ruthie (Myron) Crandall, Sam Linder, Susan (Wes) Green, Eddie (Barb) Linder, David (Cheryl) Linder, Teresa (Stephen) Anderson and Dawna (Tim) Ostermeier, 28 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest treasure and she loved them all so very much. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:30 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Greenfield Stake Center, 21320 South Greenfield Road, Gilbert, Arizona.
