Obituary for Ruth Marie Walton Funeral service celebration for Ruth Marie Walton, 59, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Reber, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening 5:30 to 7:00 at the funeral home.

Ruth was born September 19, 1959, in Enid to LaVern H. and Opal (Heim) Gragert, and passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Enid. Ruth grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. She then received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Ruth married Montie J. Walton on July 31, 1999 in Enid. She worked at the Bank of Kremlin for many years until her retirement. Ruth was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she was baptized, confirmed, and married.

Ruth is survived by her husband Montie; children Perry Walton and wife Nicole of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Dustin Walton and wife Lindsey of Fairway, Kansas; 4 grandkids, Abby, Hannah, Lucas, and Maddie; her parents LaVern and Opal Gragert; 2 sisters Kris Young and husband Ron, and Paula Adlek and husband Steve; nieces, nephews, many friends and other relatives. Memorial may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF-Diabetes or Kidney, or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
