Ruth Rehs, 93, passed away on May 25, 2018. She was born April 11, 1925 in Amity, OH to the late Florin and Mary Burson. Ruth worked at Goodyear Aerospace’s Hangar during WWII on the Corsair Air Fighter.

She retired from Giant Eagle and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. Our mother was a very loving, family-oriented person who loved the holidays and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, George; sister, Donnabell McPherson; brothers, Florin and Charles Burson.

She is survived by her sons, John (Debbie) Rehs and David (Donna) Rehs; daughters, Cindy Stingley and Lori (Gary) Parsons; grandchildren, Stacey Stingley (Bill Birchenough), Michael Stingley, Yabette Swank, Gary (Amy) Parsons, Timothy Parsons, Laura Parsons (Ken Suacillo), Michelle (Glen) Drew, John (Tammy) Rehs, David (Marga) Rehs and Devon (Holly) Rehs; great-grandchildren, Ian Alfaro, Kyle Suacillo, Neil Parsons, Gavan Parsons, Courtney (Derek) Bownes, Annamarie Drew, Samantha Drew, Jonathan Rehs, Gabriel Rehs, Zion Rehs, Isaiah Rehs, Esther Rehs, Lilly Rehs and Joshua Rehs; great-great grandchild, Cara Bownes; sisters, Mildred Cox and Mabel Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. , Akron, OH 44314 on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at St. Francis de Sales Church, 4019 Manchester Rd.

, Akron, OH 44319, at 10 a.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church, in memory of Ruth.
