Obituary for Ruth Traxler Traxler, Ruth (nee Wiviott) November 12, 2018, age 95 years, of Milwaukee. Preceded in death by husband Jerome Traxler and sister Tillie (Jack) Cassell. Dear mother of Jeanne (Robert Goisman) Traxler and John (Anne Dayer) Traxler.

Beloved sister of Fred (Esther) Wiviott and Muriel (Irving) Becker. Loving grandmother of Matthew and Jacob Goisman; Jennifer, Jeffrey and Jessica Traxler. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Ruth was a loyal and generous friend, with many interests and accomplishments. She was the guest curator of the Milwaukee Public Museum’s exhibit of the Sesquicentennial of the Jewish Community in Milwaukee. She was a lifelong member of Hadassah, President of the Milwaukee Board of Jewish Education, and a docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

She will be missed by her family and friends. Graveside services 12 noon Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 S. 43 St., Milwaukee. Memorials to the Jewish Museum Milwaukee, Hadassah, or Milwaukee Art Museum.
