Mrs. Ruth V. Cannon, age 89 of Bardwell, Ky passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 4:22 AM at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Mayfield, and she was retired from South Central Bell in Paducah. Mrs. Cannon is survived by her two sons- Robert Dwayne (Gladys) Cannon of Bardwell, Ky and Herlon Graham Smith, Jr. of Dukedom, Tn; two brothers, two sisters, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in by her parents- William Walker & Nina Taylor Vaughn; one brother. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Rev. Kenneth Ballinger officiating.

Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
