Ruthie L. Hix, age 80 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Thursday morning, May 17, 2018 at the Palace in Red Boiling Springs, TN. Ruthie is at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN. Funeral Services for Ruthie L. Hix will be conducted Saturday afternoon, May 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Pastor Bryan Morgan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin Saturday 10 a.m. until her service at 2 p.m. Family request memorials be made to assist the family with funeral expenses. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

Survivors include: daughters, Diane Hix of Red Boiling Springs, Vicky Ellis and husband, Jeff of Gainesboro; sons, Donnie Hix and wife, Martha of Red Boiling Springs, Lonnie Hix and wife, Lavonda, and Tony “Barney” Hix all of the Goosehorn Community, Timmy “Redeye” Hix and Wayne Hix both of Red Boiling Springs; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Sue Johnson of Westmoreland, Judy Daniels of Watertown, Jewell Richardson of North Carolina; brothers, Gene Fay Richardson of Red Boiling Springs, Roger Richardson of Nashville.
