Obituary of Ruth Andress ANDRESS, Ruth Marie (Pursel) Age 92 of Dundee, NY. She was born February 21, 1926 in Bloomsburg, PA, the youngest child of the late Paul and Lucy (Reese) Pursel and passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bruce; daughters Janeen Andress, Patricia Haynes and Doris Grace; daughter-in-law Patricia Hetherington Andress; brothers Dean and Lester Pursel; sister Dorothy Harvey.

Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Gary Theetge of Dundee, NY; sons and daughters-in-law Dean and Rose (Woodard) Andress of Elmira, Steve and Amy Andress of Brandon, FL; son-in-law John Haynes of Apollo Beach, FL; grandchildren Kimberly Theetge, Brian Theetge, Samuel Andress, Melissa Nunez, Jennifer Haynes, Cory Haynes, Farrah Thomas, Brian Haynes, Amanda Ling, Heather Shavalier and Robert Andress; several great grandchildren; half brothers Paul and John Pursel both of Dansville, NY along with several nieces and nephews. Ruth was an avid walker and reader, but her greatest joy was raising her family and being a part of all their lives. Before starting her family, she was employed at the McGee Silk Mill in Bloomsburg, PA.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
