Obituary for S.A. “Peanut” Haney Mr. S.A. “Peanut” Haney, 83, of Valley Head, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. He was born in DeKalb County on January 17, 1935 to the late Floyd Hershel Haney and Eunice Mary Crowe Haney. Mr. Haney was retired from quality control at Shaw Industries.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Carson and Rev. Glenn Tanner officiating.

Burial will follow in Valley Head Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Haney; children, Roger (Glenda) Haney, Darrell (Nina) Haney, and Sandra Haney; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
