Sabina Frank, 63 Kearney resident Sabina Frank, 63, of Kearney, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Kearney Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Kearney. Father Paul Colling will officiate.

Inurnment will follow at the Kearney Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 24 at the O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home, followed by a 6:00 p.m. Vigil/Prayer Service. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Sabina was born November 4, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ to Howard H. and Nadya P. (Rieger) Honeychurch. At the age of four, Sabina and her mother moved to Aberdeen, SD. She was a 1974 graduate of Central High School in Aberdeen, SD.

Sabina attended Northern State College in Aberdeen, SD and later Kearney State College. On December 27, 1975, Sabina was united in marriage to Donald Frank in Aberdeen, SD. To this union three children were blessed; Christian, Courtney and Jordan.

She had a love for animals and earned her Veterinarian Tech Assistant licenses. Sabina was very proud that she was able to be a stay at home mom while her children were young. Most recently, she worked at HyVee.

Sabina cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, wife, sister and friend. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Donald of Kearney; sons, Christian Frank and wife Jessica of Fremont and Jordan Frank of Kearney; daughter, Courtney Quigley and husband Spencer of Axtell; grandchildren, Lily Henbest, Alexis Frank and Solara Quigley; brother, Scott Honeychurch and wife Danielle of Denver, CO; mother-in-law, LaVonne Kinyon of Lemon, SD; brother-in-law, George Thomas Frank and wife, Brenda of Sacramento, CA; sister-in-law, Julie Schopp and husband, Ray of Lemon, SD; aunt, Carmen Rieger of Minneapolis, MN; along with many other relatives and friends.
