Sadie’s Obituary Sadie Gattuso, 93, of Greenacres, Florida formerly of Rutherford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 22, 2018. Sadie is predeceased by her husband Louis and sister Nina Norizan. She is survived by her children Terry Gattuso, Philip Gattuso and Joanne Mann (Joseph).

Sadie was also Grandmother to Justin Mann (Robb Yancey), Jessica Mann, Jacki Mann, Alexandra Gattuso and Andrea Gattuso. She is also survived by her sisters Marge Iandoli and Vinny Piccininni. Sadie attended Grace Episcopal Church in Rutherford for 64 years where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

She was President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rutherford Elks, a member of the Eastern Stars, President of the Golden Agers. She was also a volunteer driver for Starfish for many years. By far the volunteer job that she loved the most was for 55 Kip Center, which she was a part of since its inception.

Twice she received “volunteer of the year” award the most recent being in October 2017 before moving to Florida. She was the senior center’s Sunshine lady welcoming new members and would become a stand up comic telling a joke every week before lunch! Visitation will be on Sunday, February 10 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Macagna Diffly Onorato Funeral Home in Rutherford, NJ.

Funeral will be at 10:00 am on Monday, February 11 at Grace Episcopal Church in Rutherford followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst . In lieu of flowers donations to the Rutherford Food Pantry or 55 Kip Center would be appreciated.
