Obituary Service Details Ms. Sadie Lee Riley 87 years old was born February 2, 1932in Water Valley, MS to the late Hattie Holland and Sylvester Holland. Ms. Sadie departed this life on May 13, 2019 at her residence. Ms. Riley accepted Christ at an early age and joined Dublin Street Church of Christ.

In 1947 she united in holy matrimony to Joe Riley. Ms. Sadie worked at the egg plant in Champaign, IL and later moved back to Water Valley, MS where she worked at Motts Chicken Plant until she retired in 1963, She married Cartie Claretta. She lived in Oxford, MS for 12 years until she relocated back to Champaign, IL .

She enjoyed cooking and being around her children and keeping her house clean. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children Terry Riley, Robert Riley, and Jessie Riley, three step-children Carolyn Carothers, Charlene Carothers and Lynn Carothers, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Ms. Riley also leaves to cherish her loving memories a special friend Mrs. Doll Green, special cousin Rosa Crabb, and a host of many other family members and friends.

Ms. Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Riley, brothers; Willie B. Walton, James Walton, and Charles Holland.
