Sadie Rosalee Woodyard March 13, 1925 – December 18, 2018 Peacefully surrounded by her family, Ms. Sadie Rosalee (Rose) Woodyard, of Dublin received her call to her heavenly home on December 18, 2018. In service for the Lord, she faithfully attended The Church of the Living God, Dublin, VA. She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Selma I. Hale and husbands, Billie S. Woodyard and Jackson Vest.

She is survived by son, Alfred (Trish) Woodyard and daughter, Rosalee (David) Butcher; five grandchildren, Sherri (Larry) Bralley, Dublin, Anita Dodson, NC, Phillip Hale, Draper, Rebekah (Jeffrey) Woodyard-Vineyard, Dublin and Catherine (Douglas) Price, Dublin; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gray B. Rees, SC. Born: March 13, 1925 Death: December 18, 2018 Rose truly enjoyed her time with family and friends, her heart was open to all. Her’s was a life to be modeled after, for she lived her testimony and was very strong in her Christian faith.

She leaves behind a legacy of rich and sweet memories. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. 11 Timothy 4:7.

Family will receive friends and relatives at the home of Alfred Woodyard. Both the visitation on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and the funeral services on Friday, December 21, 2018 11:00 AM will be held at the Church of the Living God in Dublin at 2966 Little Creek Road, Dublin, VA. Burial to follow in the Woodyard Family Cemetery.

Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
