Sally’s Obituary Sally Hanch, 71, of Tunkhannock, died May 21st at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was the wife of Vincent Hanch. Her first husband, Harry Wells, died in 2002.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Stafford and Janet Davis Ley. She was a 1965 graduate of Meyers High School, then continued her studies to become an LPN. She was employed in the cafeteria at the Tunkhannock Area School District before working as an LPN for over thirty years.

Sally was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God. She was a loving wife and mother who found her greatest joy in her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Harry and his wife Debbie, Moses Lake, Washington; daughter Sheri Derhammer and her husband Adam, Dallas, Pennsylvania; granddaughters Sarah and Rachel Derhammer; a brother Stafford Ley and his wife Darlene, Indiana; nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit PA.
