Salome’s Obituary Salome Garcia Vera passed away on March 02, 2019 at the age of 67. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He served his country proudly the U.S. Air Force.

Salome was deeply loved by his family and friends; he will be dearly missed by all whom loved him. Salome is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Vera and Consuelo Garcia. Among those left to cherish Salome’s memory are his wife, Noelia Vera; children, Consuelo (Agustin Reyes) Vera, Salome Garcia (Heather) Vera, Jr., and Cecilia (Jared) Wingate; siblings, Romana Garcia, Manuela Vela, Santiago (Mary) Vera, and Beatrice (Adan) Perez; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, March 07, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will take place at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 08, 2019 at Treviño Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for Rite of Committal and Internment with Military Honors.
