Saldi, Salvatore of Washington State formerly of East Boston passed away on September 11 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Marquerite (Tango) Saldi Devoted father of Joann Basso of Washington and the late Leonard (Miyoko) Saldi . Dear brother of the late Angelo and Charles Saldi and Josephine Sacramone.

Cherished grandfather of Tiffany (Russell) Basso-Jones and Salvatore (Kathy) and Michael Saldi. Adored great-grandfather of Nicholas, Brandon, Charley, Madison, Anthony and Matthew. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Salvatore’s life by gathering at Ruggiero Family Memorial Home on Sunday September 23rd from 2:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M and again on Monday morning, September 24th at 8:30 A.M before leaving in procession to St. Joseph – St. Lazarus Church 59 Ashley St., East Boston for a 10:00 A.M funeral mass in celebration of Salvatore’s life. Services will conclude with Salvatore being laid to rest with full military honors at Mass Veterans Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
