OBITUARY Sam Edward Ellison January 15, 1940 – February 3, 2019 Sam Edward Ellison, 79, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on February 3, 2019. He was a member and a deacon at Middle Cross Baptist Church. Sam retired from Coca Cola Company after 28 years of service.

He loved teaching the Bible and was a faithful Sunday School teacher for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd E. and Louise Biggs Ellison. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pearl Shelley Ellison; children, Daphne (Darren) Haskett, Shelley Ellison and Eddie (Pam) Ellison; grandchildren Ben Haskett and Myrrhande Haskett; sister, Charlotte Hill Vandergriff; aunt, Clota Derrick and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Hearth Hospice, 1800 Rossville Ave Suite 114, Chattanooga, TN 37408. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm with the service following immediately after at 12 pm with Pastor Eddie Ellison and Pastor Dwight Martin officiating.

Interment will be held at Chattanooga Memorial Park. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
