James Samuel “Sam” Little, age 82, of Cherokee Village, AR died Friday September 7, 2018 in Jonesboro, AR. Sam was born August 7, 1936 in Ashburn, GA. he was the son of the late Thomas Little and the late Ruby Brown Little.

Sam retired as a Forman for the Southern CA. Edison Electric. He served his country proudly in the U S Navy.

Sam is survived by his wife Jeanette; two sisters Valeria Owens and Joann Sloan and a brother Derwood Little. A celebration of Sam’s life will beheld at 2:00pm… Read More » Monday September 10 at Wortham Funeral Home Oak Hill Chapel and a Visitation will be at 1:00pm until service time. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Highland with full military honors.
