OBITUARY Samuel Lewis Rutledge (Newark, NJ) Samuel Lewis Rutledge, 73, died Monday, April 29, 2019. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM, Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Heath Springs, SC, Rev. Dr. James D. Coleman will officiate.

Burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Crawford Funeral Home. Samuel Lewis Rutledge, a son of the late Herbie James Rutledge and the late Mittie Drakeford Rutledge was born January 11, 1945 in Heath Springs, SC.

Survivors include three sons, Shawn Echols of Newark, NJ, James Twitty (LaDonna) of Bethune, SC, Kenneth Twitty, of Heath Springs, SC, two brothers, Eugene Rutledge and Herbie Rutledge (Melvenia) both of Heath Springs, SC, seven sisters, Carrie Carter and Cleo Everett both of Newark, NJ, Ruby Drakeford (Richard), Patricia Rutledge Shelby Rutledge all of Heath Springs, SC, Marian Nurse of Columbia, SC, Christine Chapman (William) of Hopkins, SC, seven grandchildren. Crawford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
