Samuel (Sammy) Joseph Watts, age 63 of Hiram, GA, passed away Saturday, May 04, 2019 at his residence. He was born on November 23, 1955 to the late Claiborn Franklin and Betty Joe Watts and was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Joseph Watts Jr. and brother, Michael Watts. Sammy was employed as a commercial insulator with Allied Workers Local 48 for 33 years and was of Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, June Bennett Watts, daughter, Stacie (Joel) Pittman of Hiram, GA; brother, Timmy Watts of Dallas GA; sister, Kathy (Sammy) Harris of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Alyssa Pittman of Hiram, GA, Clayborne Watts of Hiram, GA and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 07, 2019 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel at Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery with Jerry Womack, Alan Hutchison, Michael Bennett, Tony Bennett.

Bo Womack and Ricky Dudley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 06, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, was in charge of the arrangements.
