Loving husband to Susan Hodge. Caring father to Samuel Hodge, Charmaine Hodge, Jason (Cindy) Hodge, Barbara (John) Coulter, Sarah Hodge and Holly (Jonathan) Cain. Step-father to Jodi (Jonathan) Matovich.

Proud grandfather to Chelsey, Chrissy, Nate, Candy, David and Jayden. Great-great grandfather to Nevaeh and Lionel. Brother to Diane Durante, Colleen Harbert and Sandy Murtha.

Sam was survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and his faithful companions Libby and Tucker. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 10 – 11 am at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227 A Memorial service will be held 11 am.
