Yanceyville, NC – It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Mr. Samuel Lea Sr. of 886 Hwy 158 E. Yanceyville, NC, who passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 . He was a native of Caswell County, NC the son of the late John Lenzy Lea and Estella Love Lea, born September 21, 1939. Sam as he was called by many was a member of High Rock Baptist Church and was a employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber before retirement.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. His survivors are wife Marjorie Gwynn Lea of the home; one son, Samuel Lea Jr. ( Janice ) of Reidsville, NC; three brothers, Jerry Lea ( Drucilla ), Houston Lea ( Sarah ) and Kenny Lea all of Yanceyville, NC; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
