MADISON – Sandra “Sandy” Ann Braddock, age 76, passed at UW Hospital on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Sandy was born on June 17, 1942 in Waunakee, WI to William Sr. and Anna Santos. She served in the US Army as a medic.

Sandy retired from Oscar Mayer in 2002. She was married to Gloria Branch. Sandy was a happy ray of sunshine and put a smile on everyone’s face with her sense of humor.

Sandy is survived by her wife, Gloria; daughter, Angie; son, Jim (Mercie); stepdaughters, Dawn (Weldon) Calvin and Aimee (Jake) Bunk; grandchildren, Jess, Crystal, Craig, Antonio, Ashley, Robyn, Jake Jr., Cheyenne, Jade, and Weldon; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Natalie; siblings, Ramona (Louis) Huber, Alice Wentler, Sylvester Santos, and Geraldine (Jerry) Sokolik. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L.; siblings, William Santos Jr., Lari Hinrichs, Irene Duerst, Bunny Hauger, Howard Santos, and Tony Santos.

A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at LAKE EDGE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 4200 Buckeye Road, Madison. A visitation will be held from 9am until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Carbone Cancer Center at the UW Hospital.
