Sandra Gail Vilce Woodruff, 71, of Bridge City, passed away, Saturday January 12, 2019 at Memorial Herman Hospital in the Houston Medical Center. Sandy was born March 23, 1947 in Port Arthur to the late Sedonia Miller Vilce and Wilson Joseph “Cho” Vilce Sr. Sandy Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Chenier Business Collage in Accounting and worked several jobs in that field. She was also a homemaker in her home, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Manuel Galvan of Bridge City; her daughter Tiffany Liepke and her husband Neil of Bridge City; her son, Blain Dugas and his wife Jamie of Bridge City; her brothers, Wilson Vilce, Jr. and his wife Valerie of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Craig Vilce and his wife Jennifer of Port Neches; 5 grandchildren, Shanna Janeaux, Chance Lemoine, Jonah Lemoine, Brooklyn Dugas, and Matthew Dugas; 3 great grandchildren, Keagan Trahan, Kamdyn Verrett, and Jace Lemoine; also surviving her niece, LaRae Reeves and her nephew, Ryan Vilce. She is preceded in death by her parents, also her sister, Nevellia Duncan. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the her memorial services to begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Melancon’s Funeral home in Nederland with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.
