Sandra Jo Bunker, age 67, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her home in LasVegas, Nevada. She was born June 15, 1951 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Joseph Theodore and Mary Annette (Enderle) Dresen. On October 6, 1975 she married Terry Ferren Bunker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Sandra grew up in Wisconsin. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Carroll College, and she began teaching school. After meeting her future husband while he was serving a mission for her church, she moved to Provo, Utah, where she earned two master’s degrees in linguistics and teaching English as a second language from BYU.

After she married Terry, they settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they raised six children. While there, she taught English as a second language at the community college. She also enjoyed working with her husband in real estate and development.

Sandra remained faithful to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life, serving in many different callings. She enjoyed reading, hiking and being in nature, and raising and admiring animals. She loved living by the water.

She always enjoyed visiting the home of her youth and looked forward to summers in Lake Mills, Wisconsin to visit her family. Survivors include her husband, Terry of Las Vegas, NV; four sons and two daughters: Thomas (Beverly) of Liverpool, NY; Diana of Las Vegas, NV; Adam (Kristin) of San Antonio, TX; Brian; Scott (Rebecca); Michelle (Matthew) Whittaker all of Las Vegas, NV; 15 grandchildren; step mother, Laura Dresen of Lake Mills, WI; brother, Jeff (Laurie) Dresen of Lake Mills, WI and sister, Diane (Gary) Blaskowski of Sun Prairie, WI. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 15, 11 am at the Cimarron Ward Chapel, 7401 Smoke Ranch Road.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:45 am prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park, 1216 N Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.
