Sandra K. Chockla, 78, of Derry died Wednesday March 6, 2019 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. She was born March 17, 1940 in Latrobe a daughter of the late Gerard “Jerry” and Elizabeth P. “Libbie” Beck Fisher. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry.

Sandra had worked as a civilian employee at Vandenberg Airforce Base (top security) in Lompoc, California. After returning to Pennsylvania she worked as a loan officer for Fidelity Bank that changed to Southwest Bank that changed to First Commonwealth Bank for over thirty years in Derry. After retiring from the bank she worked at St. Joseph Church and the the Rt 30 McDonald’s.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Theodore A. and Thomas G. Fisher, her first husband and father of her children Thomas M. McManamy and a grandson Gabriel T. Werner. She is survived by her son Gerard “Jerry” McManamy of Derry, her daughter Kim Daniels (Rick) of Derry, her sister Mary Alice “Mitzie” Maffe (James B.) of Ashburn, VA, three grandchildren: Taylor S. Short, Kaitlyn and Ricky Daniels. Two nephews Jeffrey and Todd Maffe.

Friends will be received Friday from 4-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am in the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry with the Rev. Father Salvatore R. Lamendola as celebrant.
