Sandra “Sandy” K. Veselka, née Karkow, age 61 of Yorkville, IL, formerly of Plainfield, IL, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous 15 year battle against ovarian cancer. She was born December 1, 1957 in Aurora, IL to her loving late parents, Waldemar “Walter” and Yvonne Karkow. Beloved wife of Thomas Veselka, wedded on July 3, 1983.
