Sandra L. Heddens, 83, of Catawissa passed away Sunday July 8, 2018 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born April 3, 1935 in Danville, a daughter of the late Lee R. and Hope (Thomas) Martz. She graduated from Ralpho Township High School class of 1954 and then worked at her family’s pharmacy from 1967 until 1986.

Sandra enjoyed Southern Columbia Football, Penn State Football, and the Philadelphia Phillies. She was an avid bowler. Sandra is survived by two children; Richard Heddens and wife Kathleen, Gary R. Heddens, all of Catawissa, three grandchildren; Sean Pursel, Heather (Randy) Mower, Sarah Heddens, two great-grandchildren; Dylan and Nolan Mower, and sister Carol L. Magill of Danville.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Robert Heddens who passed away in 2013. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may send online condolences to allenrhornefuneralhome.com.
