MANTUA Sandra R. Menken, 73 years of age, passed away Monday April 29, 2019 at UH-Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Township, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Mack) Davies. Following graduation from John Adams High School in 1964, Sandy worked for several years as a beautician in Beachwood, and then in the payroll department at Furon.

She was a member and Past Matron of Crescent Chapter O.E.S. in Garrettsville. Sandy enjoyed gardening, baking, and was an avid crafter. She and her husband spent many times in their RV traveling the United States, and will forever be missed by her family for the memories they created together.

On November 4, 1972, she married her husband Charles G. Menken who survives at their home. Also surviving are her children Charles (Rhonda) Menken of Hiram and Kimberly Menken of Mantua, and her grandchildren Dana, Victoria and Andrea. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Amber.

No calling hours. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to be held. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.
