Sandra “Sandi” Jean Roberts December 22, 1957 – December 23, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Sandra Jean Roberts, 61, of Marshall, Missouri, and formerly of Lewis, Iowa, went to be with her daughter, Nichole, December 23, 2018, in Columbia, Missouri, after a short battle with cancer. Sandi, the daughter of Joe and Estella (Flathers) Kendall, was born December 22, 1957, in Atlantic, Iowa. In 1965, she traveled and lived in several southern states with her parents, returning to Atlantic in 1975.

Sandi then met and later was united in marriage to Mike Roberts, December 26, 1980. To that union a daughter, Nichole Lee Roberts, was born. Her passion was antique’s and redoing the house next door to where she and Mike lived, she had named the house Hanna.

She owned Tillies Antique Store in Atlantic for a few years and worked for Dick Howard’s law office for a number of years. Sandi was a member of the Lewis Congregational Methodist Church in Lewis. Sandi moved to Marshall, MO, in 2013.

Sandi loved the outdoors, mowing the yard, gardening and taking walks with Glen and their dog, Dandy in Missouri. Sandi is survived by her companion, Glenn Scott of Marshall, MO; her grandchildren, Kennedy Holden of Manchester, NH, and Aidan and Adilynn Herbert of Schleswig, IA; two sisters, Mary Jane McDermott of Atlantic, IA, and Muriel Riley of Lewis, IA; her brother, Leslie (Karen) Boggs of Atlantic, IA; two sisters-in-law, Janis Boggs of Atlantic, IA, and Edna Boggs of Cedar Rapids, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Estella Kendall; her daughter Nichole Roberts; her brothers, Orville and Lawrence Boggs; sisters, Janice Hines, Lela Petersen, Marilyn Luke, Betty Nichols and Kathy Sue.

Sandi will be missed dearly by many! ! Per her wishes, she will be cremated and then buried next to Nikki at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lewis at a later date.
