OBITUARY Sanford “Sam” Johnson June 5, 1926 – November 17, 2018 Sam Johnson age 92 of Homewood, AL passed away Nov. 17, 2018. He attended Auburn University and served in the U.S Army chemical corp and was an avid outdoorsman.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Mildred Lamar and his daughter Patricia “Jinx” Johnson. He is survived by his daughter Honey “Teensie” Johnson. Visitation for Mr. Johnson will be Wednesday, Nov.

21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel, a graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to your favorite charity.
