OBITUARY Sara Patricia Gentry November 26, 1935 – December 15, 2018 Sara Patricia Gentry, 83, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died December 15, 2018. She was a devoted wife, mother, and a dearly beloved “Grammy”. She was born in 1935 in Chattanooga a daughter of the late Jack Rector and Ethel Rowe Rector.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lebron Gentry, and a brother, Jack Conley Rector. She was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church. Left behind to cherish Pat’s memory are her children, Carol Fincher, Kay G. Steele, Bill (Linda) Gentry, and Tim (Darice) Gentry; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a private burial in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Pat’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House or the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd.
