Sarah Anne Scott Lomax, 61, of Fayetteville was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 5, 2018. Sarah was raised in Chicago and served 14 years in the Army. She was preceded in death by her father, John Scott, Sr.; her mother, Nancy Webb Scott; and a brother, John Scott, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her two daughters, Angela Lomax of Brandywine, Md.

and Kathryn Lomax of Arlington, Texas; three sisters, Ollie Webb of Fayetteville, Mary Alice Scott and husband, Gerry of New Orleans and Lula Webb of New Orleans; two cousins, Thesera Crosby and Suzanne Webb, both of Chicago; a special nephew, Alvin Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
