Scott Jones, 67, of Judsonia, formerly of Perryville, Missouri, passed away May 12, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born February 7, 1952 at Park Hills, Missouri. Mr. Jones was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

He worked majority of his career as a stave maker for whiskey and wine barrels. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved to fish and camp. He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, Llwilla and John Laster; and brother, Marty Laster.

He married Christine Mueller Jones September 16, 1978 at Perryville, Missouri; she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Scott Jones of Russellville, Arkansas and Dustin Jones (Brandy) of McRae; four grandchildren, Gavyn, Domonick, Kortnee, and Scarlett; as well as two sisters, Teresa Laster and Kim Sparks. The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
