When he and his wife moved to Charleston in 2018, he worked on Kiawah Island as Security Manager for Kiawah Island Golf Resort, his dream retirement job. In lieu of flowers and memorial gifts, The DeLuca Family encourages donations be made to the American Heart Association and/or the Charleston Animal Society.
