He was born on March 26, 1958 in Murray, Utah to Judn Ann Kallbacka and Robert Frost Provstgaard. Scott was married to Dana Runnells and later divorced, he married Wendy Byrdand and they later divorced.

Scott was a strong minded, loyal guy who was respected. He enjoyed working as a painting contractor and a security guard. He enjoyed cooking for his family and watching football.

His favorite team was Chicago Bears. He loved to take his kids fishing and camping. He loved music and playing darts.

He will be missed dearly. He is survived by his son, Jason Scott Provstgaard and his daughter, Chanell Dawn Arriaga; his brother, Blair Provstgaard and his father, Robert Frost Provstgaard. He was preceded in death by his son, Derik Lee Provstgaard and his mom, Judy Ann Kallbacka.
