Heaven is a better place because a Hero of great integrity, strength, determination, courage and compassion entered the gates; Scott Fuhs, 46, of Raeford passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Fuhs and his brother, Brian Fuhs. He is forever remembered by his wife, Amy; son, Jack; his parents, William and Carol Fuhs; his sister, Mya and her husband, Shawn Collins; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Scott was a highly decorated Army Sergeant First Class, obtained his Bachelors of Science in History and was an avid car and history buff. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 19, 2018 in JFK Chapel on Ft.

Bragg. A funeral service with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on a later date. In lieu of flower donations are requested to Fisher House 3120 Loop Road, P.O. Box 700006 Ft.

Bragg, NC 28307.
