Shane’s Obituary Edmund “Shane” Damon, age 45, of Washington, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Washington. He was born May 24, 1973 in Hope, Arkansas. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and a welder and fabricator.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Victor and Ava Blount; paternal grandparents, Benny Joe and Sandra Surles. Shane is survived by his wife, Karina Damon; son, Michael Damon; daughter, Angel Damon; step-son, Jesus Rodriguez; step-daughter, Alejandra Rodriguez all of Keenesburg, Colorado; his parents, Mike and Donna Surles of Washington, Arkansas; one brother, Joshua Damon; four sisters, Natasha Brown of Brush, Colorado and Misty Sanders of Mt. Vernon, Arkansas; Heather Coronado, Shaelynn Damon, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held 5pm to 7pm Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, May 24, 2019 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with interment to follow in Bright Star Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
