Mr. Shane Gregory Futrell of Raeford passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his home at the age of 33. Shane was born in Fayetteville on September 24, 1985. Shane was a very passionate man with an unbelievable artistic ability.

His passion for music, art, and his family was unmatched. He had the unique ability to approach and speak with those whom he had never met. Shane loved the Lord and was a born again Christian.

He was preceded by his grandmothers, Ella Mae Futrell and Linda Grace Bowen. He leaves behind his son, Jayden E. Futrell of Fayetteville; his father, Greg Futrell and his wife, Joy of Tar Heel; his mother, Cindy B. Riley and her husband Ricky of Aberdeen; his brothers, Brandon Carter of Wilmington, Joshua Futrell and his wife, Ashley of Raleigh, Matthew Futrell and wife, Taylor of Lumberton; his sister Devin Cook of Raeford; Several Nephews. Service are to be announced soon.
