PATEL, SHANTABEN C., age 92, passed away at home surrounded by her beloved family on the morning of February 10, 2019. Shantaben was born on July 31, 1926 in the state of Gujarat India, but resided the last 31 years of her beautiful and joyous life in Elmwood Park, NJ. Shantaben was a devoted and loving Matriarch, Mother, and grandmother.

Her smile was made of sunshine, heart pure as gold, and eyes bright as shining stars. She was absolutely perfect in every way. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her, but will forever live in our hearts.

Shantaben, God saw you getting tired… Gods saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered “come to me” With tearful eyes, we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating and hardworking hands at rest. Gods broke our hearts to prove to us that they only take the best Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 13th from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Manke Memorial Professional Funeral & Cremation Services at Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Avenue, Paterson.

Cremation will be private. We would also like to invite family and friends for Shantaben’s Basnu Saturday, February 16th from 2:00-4:00 pm at the household of Vinod, Kailash, Mahesh, and Raju.
