Obituary for Sharlyne W. Sprawls Sharlyne Virginia Sprawls Springhill, LA Graveside services for Mrs. Sharlyne Sprawls, age 78, will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at the Springhill Cemetery, with Rev. Everett Geis officiating. Interment will follow immediately after the service under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sprawls was born on May 17, 1940 to Charles W. and Bertha Bivins Waring in Daytona Beach, FL and passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Springhill, LA. She taught school at Sarepta Elementary for many years, liked to travel, and had recently joined the Krewe of Artemis, but above all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons; Charles Sprawls of Springhill, LA, Mike Sprawls and wife, Tobie of El Dorado, AR; grandson, Zack Sprawls of Haughton, LA; three granddaughters, Michelle Sprawls of Baton Rouge, LA, Sydney Sprawls and Sarah Sprawls, both of El Dorado, AR; sister, Donna Waring of Taylor, AR; a host of nieces and nephews; and good friend, Marie Burford.

Mrs. Sprawls was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Billy “Sonny” Sprawls; son, Roy Sprawls; and sister, Marylou Parker. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice. Sign our online guest book at www.
