Obituary for Sharon June Overgard Memorial service for Sharon Overgard will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Sharon passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was 72.

Sharon June Easling Overgard was born January 8, 1946 to Herschel and Betty Easling of Vinita, Oklahoma. She attended Vinita High School where she met Charles Overgard. They were married July 10, 1964.

They welcomed Robert Todd in November of 1965 and Kelli Elizabeth in March 1969. They made their home in Claremore. They opened Chuck’s Varsity Square and then Sharon purchased The Young World Shop in Ne Mar shopping Center.

After the sale of her business Sharon began her second career where she was able to show the world her artistic talents. Known as the Santa lady, Sharon hand made one of a kind Santa Claus’ that she sold and shipped all over the world. The Kris Kringle Collection was collected by people from all over the country and would travel many miles to purchase her one of a kind works of art.

She was a dedicated Mom to Rob and Kelli but an even more awesome Nana to Kaslin, Clay, Heaven, Max, Jaden, Ella, Nate, Phoenix and Gemma. Her grandkids were her world and she loved them more than anything. She was preceded in death by her parents Herschel and Betty as well as her son Rob.

She is survived by her husband Chuck, daughter Kelli and her many grandchildren. She was loved by many and we will miss her terribly. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Sharon June Overgard please visit our Sympathy Store.
