Born in Big Spring, Texas, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, educator, actor with the local theater groups and a distinguished Hilo Toastmaster who shared her communication and leadership skills with the community.

She touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed. A celebration of her life will take place from 10:30-12 noon Monday (May 13, 2019) at the Church of the Holy Cross “Building of Faith” (440 W. Lanikaula St.). Casual attire.
