Obituary for Shawn Wilson Shawn Wilson was born July 6, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois to Ardell and Lucy Wilson. Shawn dedicated his life to Christ at a early age. Shawn attended Dunbar Vocational High School.

Shawn united in marriage with Aletha Wilson on April 17, 2015. Shawn was a loving husband. If you knew Shawn you couldn’t help but love him, he would help in any way he could.

He enjoyed cooking, having people over and OH BOY! ! !

he couldn’t wait for dessert. Shawn loved his sweets. On May 25, 2018, Shawn fell asleep in death.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents RE and Annie Gary, Beatrice Harris and Luther Thomas. Shawn will be truly missed by all that knew him, but especially by his loving wife Aletha Wilson; his children Aaliyah Wilson and Shawn Wilson Jr.; his parents Ardell and Lucy Wilson; three brothers Willie Earl (Sarah) Thomas, Marcus (Helen) Thomas, Antonio (Diane) Wilson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
