Sheila L. Thornton 45, of Harvard, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at her home in Harvard. She was born on July 1, 1973 in Wheeling the daughter of Bob and Judy (Bouffard) Haen. She married Robert Thornton on June 20, 1998 in Woodstock.

For many years she worked as a CNA for both JourneyCare and Heartland Hospice. She loved riding on the back of Roberts motorcycle. She enjoyed camping with the family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Thornton; two daughters, Jada Thornton and Lynnette Thornton; her parents Bob and Judy Haen; her father and mother in law, Fred and Debbie Thornton; grandchild, Noah Knight: a brother, Dale (Jessica Lechner) Fiester ; a brother in law, Mike Thornton; sister in law, Sara (Ryan) Malinowski; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and sister in law, Amy Thornton. A celebration for Sheila will be at a later date.
