Sheila Shelley Jenson, age 79, died Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home in Scenic, Arizona. She was born April 13, 1939 in St. George, Utah to Sherman Roy and Theo Wood Shelley. Sheila grew up on the Arizona Strip where she gained a love for the desert and ranching.
At age 13, she moved with her family to Williams, California. As a young mother, she went back to her love of ranching and followed ranching jobs all over the Western United States, working hard chasing cows and raising six children. She was tenacious in life and was proud to live her life on her own terms.
She loved be on the back of horse, her dogs and her kids. Her children will remember her for her friendship and love. Survivors include two sons and four daughters: Sheila Swearingen of Winnemucca, NV; Sylvia (Monte) Milhous of CA; Sharon (Kevin) Kelton of Scenic, AZ; Allen Nordyke (Colleen Davy) of New Mexico; Kim (David Scantlin) Shelley of Jerome, ID; Willis Kelton of Fort Mill, SC; 20 Grandchildren; 72 Great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Kelly (Alison) Shelley; Steve (MaryLee) Shelley; Elsie (Ron) Christensen and Dora Alberro.
Memorial services will be held 2/23/2019 At 11:am at the LDS Church, 3260 E Old Hwy 91, Littlefield AZ. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.
