Sheldon Sparks September 27, 1943 – April 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Sheldon Sparks, 75, of Rushville, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at his residence in Rush County. He was born Sept. 27, 1943, in New Castle, the son of Joseph Sparks and Leucreta Thrash (Gabbard).

He is survived by three sons, Allen (Angelina) Sparks of New Castle, Sheldon Sparks Jr. of Adelanta, Calif. , Travis Sparks of Oakford, Ill. ; five daughters, Selina Richards of Adelanta, Calif.

, Ronda Steward of Straughn, Tabitha Sparks, Tanya Sparks and Tasha Sparks, all of Oakford, Ill. ; three sisters, Helen (Ray) Forman, of Rushville, Lillian (Jeff) Cruser of Greensburg, Bertha Sparks, of Greensburg; two brothers, Joe (Amy) Sparks, of Connersville, David (Amy) Sparks of Connersville; and 19 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy.

Visitation is one hour prior to service. Rev. Aaron Chester is officiating.

Burial will follow at Richland Fishers Cemetery.
