Shelva Jean Miller, 81, of Bergholz, OH, passed away November 8, 2018, at Arbors of Minerva. She was a 1954 graduate of Bergholz High School, attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary and graduated with an Associate of Arts in Science from Columbia-Greene Community College (NY) and an RN from Columbia-Greene Medical Center. At the time of her retirement she was the restorative nurse at Carroll Healthcare Center in Carrollton, Ohio.

She was born December 1, 1936 in Bergholz, Ohio a daughter of the late Lewis and Edna (Dillon) Peterson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Edward and David III and grandson, Joshua Harris. Shelva is survived by her husband of 61 years David Miller; three daughters, Beth of Steubenville, OH, Melinda (Russell) Freer of Milford, NY and Kara of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Nova) Peterson, David (Joyce) Peterson, Gary (Pat) Peterson and Sandra (Charles) Warner.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Lee Iden officiating. Burial will follow at Greenbriar Cemetery. Send condolences online at www.
