Mr. Sherman Clifton Clonch, 79, of North Wilkesboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Sherman was born on June 25, 1939 in Wilkes County to the Late Henry Edgar Clonch and Mollie Varina Gryder Clonch. Sherman is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Reinhardt Clonch; daughter, Shirlene Goforth; brother, John Clonch; two grandchildren, Kayla Sheree Clonch and Brian Shawn Clonch.

Sherman is survived by his daughter, Leslie Utt and husband, Steve, of Mt. Airy; sons, David Clonch, Dennis Clonch, both of North Wilkesboro, Eric Clonch and wife, Melissa, of Mills River; step-son, Scott Shore of Ocean Isle Beach; 10 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel, 2109 Moravian Falls Road, Moravian Falls.
