Sherry A. (Geren) Cole CONTINENTAL – Sherry A. (Geren) Cole, 79, of Continental died 7:05 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at Van Wert Manor. She was born April 28, 1939 in Putnam County to the late Ethelbert “Bert” and Hilda (Merriman) Geren. She married Elzie W. Cole, he died October 3, 1973.

Sherry is survived by two daughters: Sharon (Darin) Williams and Shelly Hofstetter, both of Van Wert; 2 sisters: Maryland Geren of Leipsic and Barbara (Paul) Ladd of Cloverdale; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter: Makenzie Jo Jackson; a sister: Nora Jean Geren; and a brother-in-law: Billie Baldridge. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.

Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and again for 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be to Putnam County CAP.
