Sherry Ann Hurdle, age 57, of 691 Bobcat Trail, Nicholls, Georgia, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at her residence. Sherry was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on April 12, 1962. Even though she was born with physical disabilities, she was an exceptional person who loved life and never met a stranger.

She loved to sing and watch television. Her favorite shows were the Dukes of Hazzard and In the Heat of the Night. Her mother dedicated her life to caring for Sherry until her own health issues made that impossible, however, her sister, Connie stepped in and continued the personal care Sherry needed.

Sherry had formerly attended Third Street Baptist Church in Cordele. Survivors include: Mother: Freida Frederick of Douglas Father: John Hurdle, III of Vienna Sisters: Debra Hurdle of Nicholls Connie McNulty of Nicholls (Mike) Lisa Moreno of Copperas Cove, TX Brother: John Hurdle, IV of Ty Ty Aunt: Peggy Lovett of Cordele (William) Niece: Ann Marie Shugart of Tifton Nephew: Albert “Bubba” Shugart of Candler, NC Great Nieces: Sidney Shugart of Candler, NC Renee Shugart of Candler, NC The family would like to thank Sherry’s special caregiver, Tina Carter. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Friday, May 3 at Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 1:30 – 2:45 PM Friday, May 3 at the funeral home. Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
